Have you procrastinated on writing your book? Even quit because you got discouraged? Maybe you are stuck and need a book template that makes your writing easier and more natural. And, will also bring your book-best selling book status..
When your audience buys your book, they want to have their questions and problems answered along with being engaged on each page of every chapter.
Even if you are a professional in your niche, you may not write easy-to-read chapters. They may be dry, lecture style and telling rather than engaging and your readers. The consequences? Your readers won't finish your book and become a member of your 24/7 sales team. Word-of-mouth still sells a lot of books.
What's an author to do to write outstanding chapters?
1. First, write a chapter introduction engaging your audience with a few questions on where they are now ( problems, challenges).
2. Follow these few sentences with sharing what your reader will get out of this chapter (benefits). For instance, "In this chapter you'll discover how to..."
3. Write the middle part of your chapter. That means you'll need to use question headings that motivate and guide your reader to keep reading to get it all. See the above "What's an author to do to write outstanding chapters?" Here, you can include dialogue, stories and other creative non-fiction formats. You may also want to give a few short tips in every chapter to not only brand YOU, but to please your audience.
Your readers like short paragraphs and a break in the copy often. Tips are great for this. You can use quotes too, but they must relate to your chapter thesis-the main point your chapter makes.
My present book Write your eBook or Other Short Book Fast! went through at least 5 revisions to make it more readable. I've been a teacher, trainer, and seminar presenter for more than 20 years. I needed to be more compassionate about my audience, and give them the benefits I promised.
The first version came from a seminar for adults in San Diego. The handouts became part of chapters. They were straight forward telling how to write a book, from knowing its significance before you spend time and money on it, to pre marketing it with the nine essential selling points. They needed more. So over a few years my book evolved to what it is today.
A short (90 pages) how to write a book in both print and downloadable and printable eBook that answers all questions about getting a best seller out to your audience.
You can brand your business and share your unique message make the world a better place when you use a blueprint to make it easy to write your book.
